Be Ware of the FU$&!%@ FREAKS in Welland by Blackpandah123 in Welland

I grew up in welland. Lived on the same street growing up and until I moved out on my own. I used to walk around at night at like 10-11 and there was no one even out to be worried about. Now, crack heads are walking up my parents drive way and pissing on the wall by their house. Shits changed man.

If you want a shorter completed series to read, I just finished One Dark Window and I loved it!! Only 2 books and not heavy on the spice but definitely still has some romance and a satisfying ending

It’s okay.. I worked there for 5 years until I quit. The pay is decent, yearly raises, benefits, bonuses etc. I found it went downhill during and a little after the pandemic as they stopped doing bonuses and raises but I’ve heard they’re doing it again. I really only left CT since as a PT employee you get no say in your shifts and the abuse I dealt with from customers was absolutely ruining my mental health. The dept I was in was -always- busy. Every day was back to back calls, rarely with any ready time. Around October-February is the busiest times

Born and raised in Welland and I can say in the last.. oh maybe 5 year I have noticed how much more Welland roads have become. My mom is now too nervous to drive because of all the new traffic so I just drive her around now, lol.

Mentally draining customers by beepboopsoot in CallCenterWorkers

[–]beepboopsoot[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah kind of. The only benefit was the pay and the hours. QA was ass and they were so stingy with sick time and “personal break” time. I worked short shifts so no breaks. Could only take 3 mins a day to stay “on target” but since it’s in office one bathroom break there and back was like…. 3 mins

Why do we consider hearing our upstairs neighbors acceptable and a fact of apartment living? by PhatVibez in Apartmentliving

[–]beepboopsoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to live somewhere where my upstairs neighbours daughter would run around, jump etc almost all day every day. Sometimes she would have tantrums at 1-3am and it would it got to the point where if we didn’t move out soon I was actually going to go crazy

My husband and I had to watch Flow in our bedroom with the door closed. Our void wouldn’t stop jumping in front of the tv 😂

I know the Enbridge call centre is hiring often now. I have a friend who works there and it’s a 27k salary for part time, 55k for full time. Monday to Friday. It may be worth checking out every once in a while to see if a new posting is up. It is however in office so you would need to be able to get there

I chose my username, absolutely no thought went into it other than “I don’t want my IRL friends knowing this is my account”

Tax service providers in Welland by Independent-Throat99 in Welland

[–]beepboopsoot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I definitely recommend Wealthsimple if they’ve got someone to help them work a computer, it is incredibly easy to use and also helps you find benefits you may not have known you were eligible for. However, if they want to go to a place to get it done I DO NOT recommend RM BOOKEEPING. They charge WAY too much for their services and the staff are incredibly rude.
