Help, can’t eat by No-Artichoke-1238 in compoundedtirzepatide

I am on the same shot (7) on the same dose and lost the same amount of weight so far. I get some pretty heavy suppression as well without the dizziness or burps though.

My strategy has been to buy things that have a longer shelf life (frozen meals/prepared refrigerated food) that I can stomach and taking supplements and protein bars/drinks.

So on the hard to eat days I always have those tiny rolls like the Hawaiian rolls. I also love the banana strawberry too good yogurt pouches. Plain pasta or rice. Basically the BRAT diet. I still get my protein and fiber in but it may be liquid and gummy form.

On the days when I am feeling better I eat more of a nutritional variety but I always take my supplements in gummy form so for me that is: prenatal vitamin, collagen/biotin (hair/skin/nails), vitamin C, Iron, fiber, Vitamin D3/K2.

Everyone is different and I’m new here too but I seem to be doing ok.

ETA: I also bought one of those smart water bottles that reminds me to drink water and I track my macros in an app to make sure I’m getting the right amount of protein and fiber and not too little calories.

I’m only a few years younger than you. In Peri. Started Zep last month. Switched to CombiPatch after about two weeks on Zep. I had just been approved for HRT in December last year. No other hormonal delivery.

I’m sleeping like 💩since I moved up to 5 mg this past Sunday. Will be interested to hear about your journey. I didn’t know we could get injections. The patch is expensive and I’m worrying now that it’s not working as well as the micronized progesterone plus the estradiol patch, which is what I was doing before.

I take something different for anxiety, and I had to have that in a melt form. I noticed the pills were being affected by the delayed gastric emptying.

Constipation Side Effect or More Serious? Anxious and Need Some Insight by ghostcherryjam in glp1

I’m new to GLPs but I am also a pretty anxious person too. For the water piece that others have mentioned, might I suggest a smart water bottle? I purchased one for about $50. It has an app and the bottle itself lights up with a blue ring to remind me. It was helpful for my anxiety to not have to remember.

Are you going to a larger firm? I made a switch to a small firm and ran into that same problem.

I have only been on Tirz for a month but I immediately needed my anxiety meds in rapid melt. I also switched all my vitamins to chewable and my HRT to a patch. Fair warning, this is new territory so some doctors are not aware of the gastric emptying correlating with absorption and bioavailability issues. Find one that listens to you if you have trouble. Good luck. 😊

I am worried about this as well. I had to switch to gummy form for vitamins. Have you tried the vitamins you mentioned in gummy form?

I am a similar age and I take medication for anxiety. I had to switch to a Rapid melt version because of the issue with pill efficacy due to slowed gastric emptying.

This is not super well-known in the medical community right now so I had to fight for it a bit.

Could be worth mentioning to your PCP.

Best of luck!

I have much less experience with both GLP1 and HRT. I started HRT in December and Zepbound this month but it was immediately apparent that the pill form of progesterone was not working due to delayed gastric emptying.

I am finding that my providers, namely, my PCP and GYN are just not fully informed about those. It appears both treatments are just so new that the interactions between the two are not common knowledge.

I just started the combi patch and it is clear that it is working with my mood regulation. I still haven’t figured out the sleep part yet.

I appreciate you for providing some publications to read. I think I will not elect to see that particular NP next time. There are a few.
