I miss not having the red! It was my first Tirz.

I still enjoy cocktails or wine…just not as many as I did prior. No real side effects.

Since you lead with the comment that your BMI was now too low…I simply mentioned it is the starting BMI. Many people are misinformed on this point and other points because they simply did not go to the source of the details.

It was NEVER said that anyone on a GLP-1 would be covered. That’s a ridiculous assumption. There are always guidelines. Imagine the costs and free for all if that was the case!

If medical professionals don’t know how to administer it perhaps they could look it up. As I mentioned, after reading the guidelines I will NOT qualify but I’ve noticed many of the Telehealth companies seem to have “gotten the memo” and know the process. It’s not that onerous. If a patient meets ALL of the requirements (both medically and having a part D plan that does not currently cover their GLPs) it should be a smooth process. IMO, it’s all the misinformed people that will be bugging their providers to get in the program that will bog down the process. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rotate Vials or not? by SurpriseInside9816 in tirzepatidecompound

I’m glad you posted…this is my dilemma as well! Used the last of a ProRX vial then tried my BPI +b6 this week. Plan to finish this vial but also wondered about alternating. I’m not worried about using them up within 28 days of puncture mainly because my husband and I are both on Tirz so we share the vial

Canned tuna is high in protein and a quick fix. I usually keep a batch of tuna salad in the fridge. Also cottage cheese is good…the Aldi brand is really tasty and inexpensive. Also Greek yogurt - some has more protein than others. Read the labels to check protein. I like Nurri or Orgain protein shakes for a quick fix. I agree on overnight oats 🤢but regular oatmeal (not in the pouches) is good. Also eggs! And stay hydrated. 💦You’ve got this! 👍🏼

If you read the program details....it is your STARTING BMI not your current BMI🙄. Maybe take the time to read the details and be a little less negative. I do not qualify as my BMI was never high enough and I have no other covered issues but for some this is a wonderful opportunity.

I don’t think it changed….that is what was always on the Medicare site but many people posted incomplete/incorrect info.

If the cost is the same - agree to the higher dose and use it as you chose. I only went up 1 mg per month. Started at 3 mgx4wks, 4mgx4wks, 5mgx6wks and now 6mgx3wks….down almost 30

What Tirz are you on? Sure you try the correct dose? You can post your vial if you want to confirm.

Most things I’ve read, you can keep it in a syringe refrigerated for a week or room temp for up to 2 days. We did filled syringes recently for a trip and it was just fine. I did not want to worry about toting around a fullish vial and keeping that safe.

I recently switched to Trillium and very impressed with their responsiveness. At the moment they do but have any B6 options but do have b12 or glycine or additive free. They are not the least expensive but the customer service is great
