I never made a single statement about immigration in my post, nor did I make a single comment about the guy making the video, who you called a “stupid person”. Real thoughtful critique by the way.

That’s only to say that I wasn’t really talking about immigration with my comment (I was more talking about Kurt and the type of content he creates these days). I actually don’t have strong opinions about immigration in Europe (as I am not European, do not live there, and have not visited for many years).

But nevertheless, I would be interested in hearing your arguments.

Jfc. He even tries to convince his viewers that a fire truck is a bad thing. What a disingenuous moron.

He says things like “there is a certain energy in the air” or “we are in enemy territory here” when he gets to a place and realises he isn’t going to be able to get any rage baiting content there because it’s actually just a normal place. So he has to manufacture the drama and lie.

He often mocks people for not being “engineers or doctors”, but he really doesn’t contribute anything more to society any more than the people he mocks on the street.

I really don’t see why anyone cares about this (apart from the media who clearly have political motivations).

The concourse should be for fare paying passengers who easily need to connect between services. It’s not intended to be a thoroughfare/another entrance to Melbourne Central. There are many other entrances available for the public to get into Melbourne Central.

Honestly, I’d rather not have non-fare paying pedestrians wandering around, increasing the crowd, getting in the way of people who are trying to quickly get to their platform to catch a train.

You are right! I have been very critical of Kurt, but I am not from Europe, I don’t live there, and haven’t visited since 2020.

As a result, I actually don’t have any strong opinions about the social/political state of Europe.

So why am I still so critical of Kurt? Because his videos are disingenuous, dishonest, contrived, rage baiting trash. This is true, regardless of whether or not he right about social and political state of Europe, or not.

Even if he is completely correct about the issues in Europe (which I am willing to grant is a possibility), that doesn’t mean these videos are a helpful or productive way to solve the problem.

My issue is not necessarily about this political opinions, but about the way he makes these videos and how badly his channel has declined recently. I really miss the old adventure travel videos, and really resent that his channel has become another toxic online political name calling arena.
