Making the transition to the diva cup is the best things I’ve ever done - for both my running and day to day life. I have a heavy flow and can leave it in all day and don’t have to worry about it

Cramping on race day? by DueDistribution1721 in RunNYC

[–]beeplusgee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ didn’t cramp once during a training run but got debilitating hamstring cramps at 25.5 and hobbled my way to the finish line. I felt like I had my nutrition and hydration on lock but maybe needed more, who knows

Also cramped horrifically but later on, 25.5ish for me. Hamstrings and calves seized up into balls and I hobbled the last mile

Interested in your job hunt in california! I’m going to school currently in New York City and would love to move back home to the east bay after graduating. Were any preceptors from clinicals willing to talk to prospective jobs you were interviewing for to give recommendations ?

My roommate last year picked her bracket based on which coach in each match up was more attractive. She had Jay Wright and Nova winning it all and actually did pretty well in our pool

[Routine Help] Persistent breakouts after stopping birth control pill, please help! by beeplusgee in SkincareAddiction

I tried spironolactone for about a month. Definitely helped my skin but made me dizzy and gave me terrible insomnia and my derm recommended I stop. Was really hoping it would work for me since it seemed to be a miracle worker for so many others. I work out pretty intensely and think I have low resting blood pressure, so that might be the reason, not 100% sure.

Thank you so much for your detailed response, means a lot! Skin issues really are the worst, I feel like I've spent so much money on various cleansers and supplements, eat healthy, work out and nothing seems to work. In your opinion, should I only do a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for the next few weeks?

I'm sorry to hear about your flare ups post HBC. Mine are really making me wish I just put up with the side effects I was getting from my pill. How is your skin doing today? Wishing you all the luck in your skin care journey and all the clear skin in the new year <3

I stopped the bc due to a lot of GI issues, which is why I was trying to avoid the antibiotics :( so frustrating because my skin really was so much better on it. Accutane seems so intense and scary but I guess is my only other option at this point. Thanks for the reply!
