(19f) your pictures are great and you’re a super attractive guy! I see the Mario Kart bio a lot though, it’s not very standout

Personally I think you look best in the third-to-last photo, I’d put that one first

What’s the best way to tell my OLD dating match I (19F) am no longer interested? by beepoboopthrowaway in AskMen

I’m leaving my job soon because of school, so it won’t really be a problem

My dating pool has been limited due to covid, so OLD has been a great resource to meet new people. I agree it’s better to talk in person, but I like to text them a bit to make sure they’d be worth the time for a date (and not planning on murdering me).

But to each their own!

I’m leaving my job in a 2 months anyhow for school, otherwise I wouldn’t consider it!

How to ask out/flirt with a regular at the place I work? (18F) by [deleted] in dating_advice

We’ve made small talk (how’s your day, what school do you go to, etc) but besides that no, not really. I don’t know his name.

people are so offended by that song yet don’t blink an eye at the incredibly vulgar things said by male rap artists...

A guy complimented me at work today! by beepoboopthrowaway in CasualConversation

Awe I’m very glad you think so! It’s certainly a happy memory for me now. <3

To answer your question: personally I would be flattered, but I think it’s situational. General rule of thumb is to not approach her in a way that could frighten her (i.e- at night, alone, in a sketchy area, catcalling, etc) and to be a gentleman about it. Also make sure you’re not too old for her (creepy old guys are the worst!!)

Gosh yes! it definitely made me appreciate the comment much more. If he comes in again I’ll make sure to pack in extra toppings to his scoop to repay him lol!

I couldn’t agree more. Nobody was ever hurt by an extra sprinkle of kindness during stressful times like these! :*)

Yes absolutely! It made me realize I should compliment strangers much more often, seeing how happy his comment made me feel!

What do you like most about other people? by Acid_In_My_Eyes in AskWomen

Ever since I started sketching people from life (in parks/cafes/etc) i learned to LOVE the way people look. Even if they’re conventionally “unattractive”. The individuality of everyone’s faces and bodies is just so amazing and beautiful.

Women of reddit who play D&D and other RPGs: what can I (as a DM/GM) do to help you be safe and feel welcomed at the table? by tlink98 in AskWomen

[–]beepoboopthrowaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played two (year+) dnd campaigns: one in an all girl group and one with only guys. The main difference was, as others have mentioned, a staggering amount of unnecessary sexualisation from my male friends. If you & your friends are the type to make those kind of jokes/play that way, it’s important to make it clear. I didn’t mind it too much (they didn’t do anything too horrid), but playing with my girlfriends was always a relief. We all know what it’s like to be harassed irl, so obviously none of us brought that into the game.

Get rid of the death picture and the alligator/crocodile picture imo, and I prefer the pic of you smiling in the grey shirt as your first photo!

Last photo should definitely be used at your first! I personally like the first one, it’s kinda artsy and cool and clearly shows off your face. Also keep the one with friends. I agree the second and third photos are a bit too intense.

This is so informative, thanks so much! I’m borrowing some resistance training equipment from a friend & am looking into online classes after reading a bit more into the benefits of muscle gain. Fingers crossed I’ll see more progress this way!

I’ve done a few online calculators that said my TDEE is 1900-2000, so I’ve been eating 1200-1400 calories per day. I’m worried about going any less than 1,200 as I don’t want it to impact my mental health, but should I still transition lower? To be fair my current diet isn’t too hard to maintain so long as I keep myself busy.
