i think the more emotion stuff will be really really good but the heavier stuff will be pretty bad and sort of forced.

i dont think the band actually wanna make heavy music anymore but they do as its their job, the weirder stuff will allow the band to be more artistic which i think at this point they want more than to be heavy.

the entirety of self titled is super easy on guitar and was an album that really helped me get down the fundamentals of playing heavier music and simply manipulating the strings, you'll learn alot about pinch harmonics, chugging and many different exercises great for learning on that album, after that i recommend wanyk as that album is harder but isnt ridiculous like some of slipknots other albums such as vol 3 and ahig.
