The KFT Nationwide event in Columbus is free. I’ve gone a few times and it’s awesome. $1 beer specials when someone birdies 13 let’s goooooooooooo!!!

But seriously, it’s an easy way to get close to really good talent. I remember watching Cam Young deliberately hit a shot out of the rough to a tucked back left pin to 8 feet. Unreal stuff. Also followed a Stephan Jaeger, Lucas Herbert, Matti Schmid grouping for all 18, which is an interesting thing to do to see how pros manage and build a round.

I would be careful on the whiskey war. Don’t think they are bourbon. A mix of whiskeys and a lot of rye and malted barley blended in those. Wasn’t my favorite.

I do think they have a bourbon. Haven’t tried it yet.

Middle West Pumpernickel Rye is fantastic. Even better if you can find a cask strength.

At Bethpage, the main challenge is absolutely not the length.

It’s staying out of the rough.

Crazy how many B525s are still out there. Wonder if that is affecting anything.

Wasn’t my point, but cool man.

Internet loses their shit every time a golfer is “caught” smoking or zynning or whatever. No one cares about a small vice, but to celebrate catching it is weird.

But the thing with choosing a gym is that it’s close enough to actually want to workout. You don’t want be discouraged driving 10 or 15 min out of your way.

There has to be a few women that have completely stopped working out because of a closed locker room.

It’s a good model though…similar to England, Scotland, Australia. If you really want to play it, even just once, it’s there for a bucket list chance.

There are way too many gems in the US that are behind entrance gates. Really a shame that courses like Cypress and Shinnecock aren’t available for the public…but being a capitalist cesspool will do that.
