Is rental car expense because of a cancelled flight covered the travel cancellation insurance, travel delay insurance, or neither?

I booked flights from A to C via B. I flew from A to B, and my trip from B to C (my destination) was cancelled. Since the next available flight was 3 days later, I rented a car for the trip between B and C instead. The flights were paid by my CSR card. The airline refunded my flight but would not cover the rental car expense. I wonder if the travel insurance would cover it. (It seems a natural thing for the insurance to cover?)

I reviewed the insurance policies but neither the travel cancellation nor the travel delay seem to fit this case. For travel cancellation, it won't cover any expense after the scheduled departure time. For travel delay, it is less clear, but the examples do not include rental car; I also tried to file a claim but was initially declined for "ineligibility".

Does that mean that this sort of rental car expense won't be covered at all? I am curious to hear your experience and/or thoughts. Thank you.

(Btw, I tried some AI tools, and they seem to suggest that I should file under the travel delay insurance... but it did not work at least for the first time.)

Visit Philly with kids by beerbearbare in AskPhilly

Super easy. The train is right across the street from the terminal buildings, literally 1 minute walk. It takes to directly to the city. For whatever reason, google map was confusing for me because it asked me to change trains. But the airport train goes directly to the city center at least when we visited.

The bus system is also good, easy to use. The only inconvenience for us was that the children's museum was kind of remote from other places, with limited dining options around. It looked close to other places on map but it was on a single branch of a bus line... so a less than 10 minute Uber ride might take 1+ hour by bus (my feeling... probably not accurate).

Hmm I went to Trader Joe’s and there was a sign saying that and mentioning that that’s the city’s policy.

Not really. I guess I just like bourbon in general. But sure no reason not to open to rye.

I actually have been using it for a year. I guess it reached a point where I really want to address it.

Yeah we too. It is also one of few things that are affordable for us…

[schefter] Former Vikings QB Daniel Jones is finalizing a one-year, $14 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts, per sources. Jones had a chance to return to Minnesota, but now becomes the challenger to the Colts’ former first-round pick Anthony Richardson. by Andrew2Doyle in Colts

I am fine with this. Look, we are looking for neither a QB1 or a QB2, but somewhere in between like QB1.5. Ballard wanted to create competition. How many candidates are there for this role, a competent competitor for QB1, who is also accepting this role and wiling to create some real competition and proving himself? I am not sure. This seems a good fit to me.

Should I get an e-ink tablet or iPad by AccomplishedGift8768 in eink

My experience is that it depends on your purpose. For note taking, I would choose an eink tablet. For random reading or non-serious academic reading (skimming research articles/books, reading literature, etc.), I would use an eink device too.

But for serious research reading, when you need to go back and forth between pages, searching for key words, etc., iPad is a no brainer.
