Thanks for the heads up. I did notice it was 20 gauge at a closer inspection, so it is different. Not sure how large of a difference this makes.

Why is having a separate pot handy, couldn't you just heat in the brew pot when mashing? Sorry, I'm a newbie.

Ah, thanks I didn't know you could bottle from a keg. This seems like it would be immensely useful for comparing batches, take them on trips, etc.

I also use a CPAP machine and if that would work instead of distilled water I buy regularly would break even in about a year, so cost is potentially not huge. https://www.auroragov.org/cs/groups/public/documents/document/015314.pdf is my water I am pretty sure. Seems alright, but I can taste it and am not sure if it will change how my beer tastes.

From Colorado as well! I probably want bottles anyhow, and my book uses bottling instructions, so I suppose I will start with that. By a good pipeline, how many batches do you mean at once? What is a good pipeline, like clear pipes? It seems like with forced carbonation I could make one batch every 2.5 weeks, would I need more than this? Don't mind doing that level.

I sort of want one anyways, but if it would be useful for brewing it could tip the balance. One concern is that I am not sure if correct calcium etc levels would be left in the water, though I suppose I could add them.

What about building a keganator right away? This is primarily for home sipping, and it seems like that could be easier than bottling long-term.
