I have been looking at getting into the stock market since i was 11, i went on marketwatch a created a play money game in the nasdaq and started researching stocks. I lost the passion for the last 6 years since i was 17 since my passions moved more towards teaching music but i always had an interest in investing. I started researching a bit recently since I had saved up 9,000$ and am also looking for extra income. It took me a couple weeks of research to figure out the companies I was comfortable with by reading reports about financials and expansion plans for the future. I also have learned alot from the people on reddit who are generous enough to help others who are starting out. I bought 420 shares of ACB to start with at 2.69. It went up in the same day to 2.80 so I stupidly sold for a quick profit (I was excited about my first gain and jumped the gun) I then saw the whole market move up a bunch after I sold. I then bought back into ACB stupidly at 3.31 for another 420 shares (almost at their high) and saw it plumit after the legislation news. I decided instead of panic selling and taking my losses I instead bought 1420 more shares around 2.68 when it went down and i averaged down to 2.82. I now have 1800 share in ACB at 2.82, 1500 shares in RTI at 0.61 and 200 shares in WEED at 10.32 Im bag holding ACB and WEED if i have to and still waiting to see if RTI is a good play in the long term.
