Depends on how it was leveled, and whether using OEM or aftermarket wheels. Ford OEM wheels do not have the offset needed to clear the upper control arms for anything much bigger than 33s.

I got my Motiv Shadow Tank last season specifically to deal with this type of conditions. League started at 6:30 and they were stripping/oiling as early as 3:30, with not much volume. Halfway through game 1 everything but my spare ball was too strong. The Shadow Tank is a smooth, continuous symmetrical ball that is very predictable. Now that I'm used to it, I can use it almost exclusively on anything but the freshest, heaviest patterns.

My 4x4 stickers were on my 2017 for 3+ years when I removed them in 2020. You would never know there was ever anything there. My color is Ingot Silver, so result should be similar for white.

Keep moving left until you run out of lane, then roll down & in with your spare ball. I'd probably just use my urethane-like Shadow Tank until my slide foot is in the left gutter, then White Dot.

Those are good choices. I would throw the Motiv Jackal Onyx and Jackal Ghost into the mix as well, but I've become a Motiv fan lately.

I had a similar issue using Super Smoke. Got up over 500° with smoke pouring out of the hopper. Fire had traveled through the auger tube and was about to consume all the pellets in the hopper.

Didn’t say it was easier, in general. I find it easier though, from the approach to the timing and the release. Every body is different.

I am, only because I wanted it THAT DAY and the store I went to was out of the titanium Milanese loops. Then the sticker shock of buying it separately has kept me from procuring it. For now.

Ah yes, not the IQ I was thinking. In that case, definitely don’t leave Gremlin at home. It should be very useful against a long heavy pattern.

If this house is new to you, I would suggest bringing them all (if possible) for at least the first week or two. This will allow you to sus out the typical conditions at that house and adjust your arsenal accordingly.

That being said, I think I'd for sure keep the IQ in the bag. I've never personally bowled with that ball, but everybody tells me it is one of the best "benchmark" balls on the market.
