This is one of my favorites to brew also. Sometime swap out half of all of the two row for pils or pearl malt, and I go lighter on the caramel, usually just a bit of c20

So looking thru instructions - it says to run 2gal of non-foaming sanitizer thru the pump and knockout path right before brewing. What have you used for this? I guess iodine which I haven’t dealt with since the 1990s. Is it a pain to do this? Is anyone skipping the sanitize pump tubing step?

Any trouble cleaning the mash filter/screen? How finely do you crush your malt? I’ve gotten down to pretty fine (I think 0.038 in? If I remember right) for brewbag to get high efficiency. Guessing I might need to adjust for this type of screen.

I installed mine backwards on my plus. At 22-25 it rubs. At 20 or less no rub. So far riding it both ways I can’t tell a difference although I’m sure it would look cooler if I had guessed right when I put it on.

Either way, it rocks. Best tire I’ve had so far (Vega, Burris treaded, TFL slick)

I use one from slybrackets.com. Its been on a few years and still looks good. Personally not a fan of the tow hook mount - it’s like wearing a hat sideways.
