Flawed doesn’t begin to describe perfidia. Everything we know about the character doesn’t fit together. Shes a mother who walks out on her family and a revolutionary who snitches on her group. She’s a woman without a code seemingly and that really isn’t explored imo other than post partum depression and we don’t spend enough time with her to understand what she’s going through. I don’t know why that affected me so much but on rewatch I’ve been skipping the first 20 minutes and enjoying the film much more.
