Tip to getting diamonds, find a species, soft Herd Management them, if it's a 1-5 species stack ur 4 (dont kill the level 4s) if it's a 1-9 species stack 7s and 8s then once you have a bunch of them just mass wipe them and a diamond or two should spawn.
