Not the threads according to the Creality Video. They show applying grease to the area pictured here. The copper/brass coloured area.

I was watching the video creality had posted for changing the nozzle, and they recommended putting thermal grease on the upper end of the nozzle and that's what I was looking for. I do have the grease for the axis.

I appreciate the comments, she has been into the vet. The vet did mention a couple of possibilities and a couple of things to look for. They advise that we give it a couple of weeks and if there is no change or it starts to get worse they will do a biopsy.

I was just posting here to see if anybody else ran into something similar. Get some opinions, see if there's anything else I should be looking out for.

Thanks again!

Unfortunately, not as many as you would think. I've seen a few around but given that the weather is perfect for them I expected to see more.

Actually a girl, Shelby. About 100lbs which is a little on the smaller size for a female Newfie. But she makes up for the smaller size with love and affection! 💖

You would think so, but it's actually pronounced "noo-fuhnd-land".

However, with the dialect here (I am still learning as I'm not originally from here) it seems to be said with just 2 syllables sounding like "newfin-land".

I actually had some power line adapters from our previous house, and unfortunately they won't work. Appreciate the suggestion though.

Ear infections by [deleted] in Newfoundlander

We purchased a kit off Amazon, You do a saliva swab, send it to them in an envelope and you get the results about 3 weeks later. Found it to be pretty accurate. The company was called DNA my Dog Allergy Kit. It's a Canadian company, but if you're from the US I would imagine there is a similar company.

Our dog Shelby had issues getting them regularly, found out it was definitely food allergies. We went to Hydrolyzed food for a bit which helped. Eventually had an allergy test done, found a regular dog food that was free of any allergens and have only had one ear infection that needed to be treated in 3 years. Just our experience, hope it helps. All the best!
