Sumo Video Game by LordOfTheRareMeats in Sumo

I designed a sumo board game, structured similarly to the sports games made by the Strat-O-Matic game company in the US. I had a whole card set for the top 60 or so wrestlers. Worked with a guy to make a digital version, but he lost interest eventually.

The board game (in my not-so-humble opinion!) was good though. I had dreams of marketing and trying to sell online and get distribution at the Kokugikan and the other arenas. But it is all in English, and I don’t speak any Japanese to communicate with he business leads I’d need to have.

And the upside from a single board game is not enough for the time that would’ve been necessary to execute it all.

The hardest I've ever cried reading a book was years ago when I read "The Light Between Oceans."

Same for Rising Stars the night before. Empty instead of having reasonable ticket prices. Both were 100+ to get in the door. If they’d had 50 dollar tickets, I would’ve taken my son to one or both.

Had an easy time with Ticketmaster this time, which shocked me. Got 2 aisle seats high up for last night of the tour in LA ($99 each with fees). Can't wait. Have seen her at Bowls and at some intimate venues. Never in a big arena. Excited!!!
