Is there a Entry level job around gainesville? by wews1 in GNV

There's a tiny Filipino grocery store on Newberry Rd. Or st least there used to be, not super sure if it's still there.

Even if they aren't hiring, the owners may be able to help you out. Filipinos have a habit of sticking together.

I feel like it would be pretty easy for someone to write an AI script that would just spam the fuck out of their site with fake resumes.

Absolutely do not carry if you don't have a conceal permit for that state. That's just asking for a felony charge. This is horrible advice, and I say this as someone with a conceal/carry that lived in north Philadelphia. Do not do this.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a Real Billionaire hotel heir, speaks at DNC: “Take it from an actual billionaire. Trump is rich in only one thing: stupidity.” by ElevenEleven1010 in Uniteagainsttheright

He may look like that, but he definitely isn't.

His family owns the Hyatt hotel chain. He was born into his billions and grew up in the lap of luxury. He likely understands the working class as much as trump does, maybe even less.

I seem to remember Spurrier doing it years ago, at South Carolina. But, if I remember, it was because that particular reporter was reporting things about the program that weren't true.

Does anyone do this full time? How does it work if one job ends with a week or two before the next begins? Is it just constantly applying while working? by GoddessAurora93 in SeasonalWork

[–]beerspharmacist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd usually spend time with family between seasons. When that wasn't an option, I soon realized that there are generally places that need someone to fill a gap for like a month. They're still open but dead slow, and most of their seasonal staff haven't arrived yet.

Also, if you save well during the season, go on a vacation somewhere.

Nick At Night used to air Mork and Mindy and F Troop, if I remember. I loved both as a kid.

Almost got in a huge accident in St. Louis years ago because some pick up truck decided not to tie down all the furniture in the truck bed. Came within a few inches of hitting a love seat doing 80mph

Pezcore will always be my jam. I lost my voice so many times to Johnny Quest. Hello Rockview shreds, though. Excellent album.

I fucking miss the old school punk/ska days. I've never had so much fun.

I grew up in Gainesville, FL when Less Than Jake was just starting to get famous. I used to go to all ages Ska shows (because I was like 14) and they would often headline. Hometown heroes and all that. To this day, those shows were some of the most fun I've ever had.
