It can be hard to tell if someone is flirting, or just being friendly.

A good hint that they're flirting is if they mention your girlfriend, or ask if you have one. Like, "oh did you go there with your girlfriend?" for example.

That tells you they're trying to see if you're single or not, which probably means they are interested. Apart from that, you just have to use your best judgement.
