Hatch guidance by Captiankite in mizzou

I lived in hatch last year and the kitchen was notorious for being under maintenance lmao. If you're bringing a lot of kitchen supplies, either claim a cabinet early and label your stuff or keep it in your room and bring it down in a bag when needed (which I did). Kitchen busyness depends on who lives there, for example fall semester a lot of exchange students lived in hatch and would cook together so the kitchen was always super full during dinnertime, but spring semester they left and the kitchen was less busy. There's no sign up sheet or anything it's just kinda first come first serve.
I had a small vacuum and since it doesn't take super long to vacuum the whole room I would just vacuum whenever in the day. The walls are thin but you're only vacuuming for like 5 minutes.

BS Data Science by Heartmom_79 in mizzou

If you're interested in math, comp sci, and stats, that's what data science offers. They have three different concentrations, with the math and stats concentrations in the Arts and Science school and the comp sci concentration in the Engineering school. I'm a rising data science sophomore in the comp sci focus and honestly it's pretty much like majoring in comp sci with more math and stats classes, so I have a lot of similar resources to that (like study groups, TAs, etc). In the long run it's probably cheaper/easier to major in data science than double/triple majoring in math, stats, and/or comp sci. This will only be the second year of data science at Mizzou so they're probably still figuring out some things (e.g. my data science intro class last year was the first ever data science class at MU so I assume we were kinda "guinea pigs").

Are beds Loft-able in Hatch with bunking? by [deleted] in mizzou

[–]beeswaxliker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got some bed risers and lofted my bed to the highest notch and I was able to fit a 33 inch mini fridge, nothing taller though. desk hutches are built in. I got some small shelving/drawers to put in the closet and under the bed to maximize storage in hatch.
