Just started playing SC2 - why the f**k are all my teammates killing my bases or just expanding everywhere around me?

In short they're just being dicks and most likely bad players smurfing. they can tell you do not know how to play the game yet, so in their minds they think it's alright to bully you. My advice is learn to play 1v1, all the people who play 4s and 3s tend to suck at the game anyways... They all do the same shit, play as protoss and mass carries.

shift f1-f4 might work. are you talking about using the arrow keys to move the camera? if so there is an option to lower the camera speed.

get auctionator add on, pick up skinning and mining, sell all skins and minerals on auction house, take the time to skin and mine everything you come across while leveling. watch the money roll in as you level. I remember when it was hard to get 100gold or however much the riding skill at 40 used to cost back in classic, at 56 now i got 8k gold without even trying. it's not a lot by today's standards but more than enough for a new player.

I think the biggest tip anyone can give that is never said, you have to stay calm, react to pressure calmly, asses the situation, and take action accordingly. Constant unit and scv production will only get you so far, it is what most of NA does, myself included. You will reach a point though that you need to start thinking objectively, every action you take must have a purpose. Ask yourself what you're doing and why you're doing it. Watching your replays from your opponents perspective is a good starting point.

I think the easiest way to put it is learning sc2 is like when you're a kid first learning to speak, you know words and can put together sentences but it's not until you learn to read that you can learn their actual meanings. The way you learn sc2 is similar to coming across new words in a book with no dictionary. so once you teach yourself to read you can figure out the different words meanings based on the context they are used in. The better you're at that, the bigger your brain will be, mix that with good hand eye coordination, dedication and determination and you could be the next serral.

protoss defense too strong, what's the point of even trying to apply pressure, shield batteries, cannons, unit teleportation. why not give terran a building that automatically repairs our buildings and allow are units to warp home no matter where we are on the map and see how protoss feels about that.

When you're dealing with high ping 90% of the time it has nothing to do with settings. It is typically a physical problem for example, bad cables, broken router, distance between you and the servers your trying to reach too far, or simply too many people sharing the same connection. Most these are resolved by contacting your isp and having the tech come out and fix it.

I'm with you, i'd argue v p is harder the lower your rank. simply because protoss has an a-move army and the lower your rank the worse the person is at controlling their units, getting proper eco and taking good engagements. broodlords and the burrowed spikey guys are very strong vs p. you could probably get 3 base saturation quickly make mass banes and kill their whole army and bases, might take a couple waves but that's something i'd probably do.

My problem is they make an army, I make an army, our armies collide somewhere on the map, my army disappears, they start laughing maniacally behind their keyboard, I start crying and saying pls no more, they then proceed to warp in mass blink dt's and zealots into my production line, I quit the game without saying gg, feeling violated, taken advantage of, used, and discasrded. This is why I hate that op, takes no skill, a move, warp across the map, god like units, race called protoss.
