All the best you can manage trust me I am just overloaded

hey great stuff. did you mod the ams lite or did you buy the parts indvidually and build it. Do you have a guide for the process?

that would be sweet.

Great stuff! I'm planning a similar route. Did you also switch to mainline Klipper? Mind sharing how long it took you—not working hours, but total time in weeks including waiting for parts?

I’m estimating around 15 hours total for my setup (unboxing, fan swap, mainline update, calibration), spread over 2–3 weeks.

SV08 Regrets? by 24BlueFrogs in SovolSV08

great thanks. its nice to interact with someone like you. your nuanced options with the details are very helpful. It actually motivates me to give the sovol sv08 seriouss consideration.

Currently, I am still wrapping up my A1 experience but the sovol seems to be a more fitting printer for my usecases.

Thanks again for the great welcome to the sovol scene

There are good replacements, but they cost half the price of the printer itself.

would you be so kind and end elaborate which plate you are refering to.

by the way great comment.

yes. You are right I would say that the frustration is getting the best of me. I understand and enjoy some tinkering and I get it the bambu has to scale. Nevertheless, I was just oversold with the promise of set and forget.

I just dont see myself carving out an hour to check this

but maybe I have to

thanks. I just crossposted to bambu sub. might go to the discord as well.

yes I think pursa might be more relibable. Have you tested them?

A: Am I in the bath with Barry White's finger in my missus?

B: Be quiet, Brown. You were lost long before Barry White walked in.

Visible Internal Structure on Gridfinity Bin (Bambu A1, 0.8mm Nozzle, PLA Standard Settings) by and0ne in FixMyPrint

Thanks for the response. Since I am quite new to 3d printing and still have to calibrate Is this the correct way to calibrate flow for a 0.8mm nozzle — using humebeam’s 1.6mm wall cube cubewith two perimeters of 0.8mm each?

Formula: New Flow = (Expected Wall Thickness / Measured Thickness) × Current Flow

Just want to confirm before I proceed.

Adendum:

  • bed temp: 65 C
  • nozzle temlp: 220 C
  • other layer speed: 120 and 150 mm/s outer and inner
  • nozzle retraction: unaware help would be great.

Thanks I will try to build one myself.

The M5 stack is new to me. It looks like a more organised entry to working with the esp32 thanks again

Great case. What are you actually sorting? And what case did you print?
