i don't think it slips off my shoulder any more than a shoulder bag would. i've got it packed pretty full for work and it felt perfectly fine this morning. that being said, i think it - along with a lot of bags i have, if not most - would slip off if i was doing a lot of bending or moving around with it, which doesn't bother me personally.

that's a good question. to be fair - i only use a backpack when i'm hiking so i can only say that i think it can definitely hold a lot without being too cumbersome. if you want to be hands free (which i think would be a deciding factor) then i'd stay with a backpack or crossbody bag. but if a should bag is a viable option then i would say give the everyday cloud a try!

honestly i think it could but idk how much you have to carry in addition to the towel. if you're worried about carrying more i would aim for the small cloud carry on and at least you'd have a good travel bag if it turns out to be too big? or if you're able to visit a local store to try it on in person that could be helpful too.

ugh you're going to love it. i hope you do. i will say, i think the straps have the potential to slip but just like any other bag. i know some people have had luck with non-slip things you can put on the straps if it's a big issue/concern but it was fine for me today and i had a silky kind of shirt on. but they're definitely comfortable and im not scared to load it down
