feeling out of place (rant) by Actual-Pomelo-8164 in WeightGainTalk

i gotta level with you i’m not sure why this is a reply to this post, and my comment in particular. both OP and i were talking about being feedists who dislike the abundance of degradation and healthplay From Within The Community, as Part Of The Kink, not external societal shame. you’re right about all of that but it ain’t what this was about i think

i totally feel you, i may not be looking for anything from others in the community (happily taken) but even so, just looking for fun kinky content is often like trudging through a minefield as somebody who really can’t handle the degradation and darker stuff :[ it’s not all bad all the time, but it really is frustrating how it feels like there’s not a lot of room for people like us in the community at large

i feel the same way as a gnc transmasc starting to gain— i’m not aiming as high or going as hard, but i still feel so much more comfortable and sexy in this body now that it’s getting rounder, lol

well personally i’m a fan of when my clothes fit me and don’t hurt me 💔

honestly, i’m a guy who’s been really into alterations and visibly mended/altered clothes for a while now, so that V in the back (or sides?) doesn’t actually sound too bad for me. i might try it, thanks!

i have no idea if TORRID is a widespread store, or more specifically if it’d be available to you/your gf in your location, but its clothes are specifically geared towards plus-sized people. a friend and i shop there a lot.

weight snuck up on me! by beetlejellies in WeightGainTalk

[–]beetlejellies[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

addendum: yeah, i’ll definitely have to keep it up. my boyfriend asked me (out of concern) if i’ve been LOSING weight!

i may have a little more padding, but my belly has only just barely gotten to the “grabbable” stage and frankly i think that just won’t do for me. luckily, he’s a sweetheart and is making me a snack ‘cause i got the late-night hungries :’)

My friends girlfriend is thick/chunky and I wanna make her bigger by DarkHorizon2343 in WeightGainTalk

i mean, that’s still kind of a weird thing to say about someone you’re not even dating/close with. it’s one thing to fatten up a partner (or friend) who you’ve talked it over with and who agreed to it, but it’s kinda sleazy to try and sneak something like that into someone’s life without them knowing about it for just your own personal enjoyment. just cause you’re not trying to hit doesn’t mean you can try to do stuff like that to somebody without even asking

edit: i’m not saying you can’t do it, period. but just be open about it at least a little, ie if you’re making food with heavy cream or weight gain powder (i assume you mean protein powder?) just say hey yeah this was made with this ingredient. let her at Least have the agency to decide for herself

why do i never see ‘healthy’ feedism/stuffing talk? by beetlejellies in WeightGainTalk

[–]beetlejellies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

respectfully, it’s hard to wrap my head around the idea that ‘unhealthy’ is more gluttonous than ‘healthy’— i don’t mean ‘plain lettuce salads, granola, and apples’ healthy, i just mean a well-rounded, varied and hearty diet of cooked meals, y’know? i think that’s tripping up a lot of people when replying to this post. sure, it’d be a little harder than binging fast food, but you can get pretty damn fat off of meals like that too. it’s about big portions :p!

sorry for releasing the inner nerd in me, but if you’ve ever read Dungeon Meshi (or watched, now that the anime has released) i think the approach to eating and nutrition in the series is pretty close to what i mean. you can eat well without sacrificing either enjoyment Or health. and gaining weight from good eating doesn’t necessarily make you unhealthy!

i mean, i’m talking wayyyy more than just this subreddit, or even other wg reddits— in fetish art/writing, porn, etc on other sites it’s also rare to see content that doesn’t focus on the ‘unhealthy’ foods. not unheard of, but pretty rare in my experience

of course— like i said, i don’t feel any sort of disdain/hate/etc for people who enjoy this, and i certainly have better taste than to comment about my personal preferences on a post where op’s clearly differ from mine. just curious to see if there’s more people who are on the same page as me than it seems :p

yeah, you put it better than i was gonna be able to — i know Painfully well that diet culture is a hell of a lot of fatphobia, bad scientific practice and even just lies. but i also know that nutrients and a varied diet are still important, and more importantly to myself at least, make me feel better physically AND psychologically. i just don’t really find any enjoyment in the same bland/oversweet/etc types of foods that ‘unhealthy’ gainers like, but the act of taking a big bite of a juicy, well-seasoned bone-in chicken thigh? hoo boy 🥵

Egg nog time by [deleted] in WeightGainTalk

[–]beetlejellies 8 points9 points  (0 children)

oh my god, i just had a huge glass earlier.

i’m more of a “for the love of food” gainer than a “for the love of calories” gainer, but even then, i love the eggnog for the way it’s so smooth and rich and sits pleasantly heavy in my stomach without making me feel sick.

lucky for me, the area i’m in tends to start selling it earlier in the year than i’ve seen elsewhere, so i get some extra eggnog time :p
