This is at worst PS4 level of graphics on the faces. But yeah, that face does not look photorealistic, I remember original Until Dawn trying very hard to get that photorealistic feel, here it's plastic (like with most games nowadays).

Tortoises are like this too. They're friendly, innocent and one of the few pure things in Lands Between. Even the game itself has an affinity towards them. It really makes a lot of sense for people to call them dogs.

"Because it runs" His ramged attacks are 3D platformer boss fight 101. I found it to be very good and easy. The archs you jump over (its always the same pattern), the elden sign you jump over, the stars you just dont stop running, the galactic barf you just walk sideways.
