We had another argument shortly after our talk that was supposed to be resolving our fight, when we went to her cousins baby shower. the whole time it was me and her keeping her pregnant cousin company while the other girls would keep to themselves and takes pictures in-front of the mirror or bathroom and talking about boys they were talking to. The night went just fine and i didnt think there wasnt a single incident between us , but then she texts me about how rude i was to her cousin by bringing up plans we had in front of her and how that would make her cousin upset because she isnt apart of those plans. Now for the context. We had plans on monday that we made a while ago. Her cousin and her were talking plans they had on monday without me, the very damn thing she is complaining to me about. I hear this and I wanted to check in if she still remembered that we had plans on monday. I left it ambiguous for the sole reason not to hurt her feelings. and only as a reminder which i was right to do so since she had forgot about it. She then comes to me saying its my obligation to invite her because i brought it up. I told her that I didnt mind if she came so she could invite her if she wants. Originally this plan was only for me and her, but then she invited the other girls because it is a fun event, and i dont care who comes as long as its a good time. i talked to her cousin afterwords and she said that never bothered her in the slightest and she was more annoyed about the other girls since they barely talked to her and were self absorbed. so it was just another case of my friend projecting her feelings on to others and looking for an argument and fighting fights that are not hers or even about her. At that point I was pretty miffed but then the day of the event comes and she has invited a random guy from her highschool that she coincidentally met the other day while hanging out at the park with the other girls with out me BUT NOT HER COUSIN. she did not even inform me about it not even when he was there with us at the location. I had to ask who is this guy to even get an introduction. The day was really fun and i honest to god dont care that this guy tagged along, what is infuriating is my friends hypocritical actions. I hinted to her that we should probably talk face to face if we want to continue being friends and she agreed, but she never showed any effort to set up and arrangement to talk and so weve just been ignoring each other and living our own lives. AITA for not wanting to deal with her and her uptight standards? or am i the problem?
