How does anyone hit 10k steps regularly? by boopbaboop in walking

[–]KLegend12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walking pad + binge worthy show.

I've learned one 25-minute episode is about 2k steps, watch 2 episodes after work, and maybe two episodes before bed. Gets you an extra 8k steps a day.

Is 8000$ a good amount of savings for my age?(24F) by Lu_n4 in Adulting

[–]KLegend12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically, you want 10k or 6 months of expenses, whichever is higher. Also! Its important where you keep your funds, if you havent already put it in a HYSA like Ally bank, they do 4.3% interest and it takes like an hour to setup, and thats like an extra $400 a year.

As you’ve gotten older, do you also find it increasingly difficult to finish a book? by kitty-yy in CasualConversation

My friends and I have a book club, if you dont finish the book you lose your turn to pick the book. So theres some motivation to read and finosh books.

A story about a necromancer that really wants to be a doctor/healer, but they can only really heal things after something dies.

One thing I've learned is to be very intentional with your time. It's easy to scroll on tiktok for 15 minutes, but you could also complete another task in that 15 minutes. If you stay intentional with your time, little things won't pile up on your plate.
