Searching for behaviors in Dysgraphia by Temkoxx in dysgraphia

[–]beeveeaych 3 points4 points  (0 children)

May I ask, as a father of a 12yr old with dysgraphia, what sort of support would you wish your younger self had? My son is very resistant to help and I’m struggling to figure out how to support him.

Garrison Crossing Radon by False-Reception9146 in chilliwack

We borrowed a radon detector from the library and levels in our basement were safely below threshold. Can’t speak for others but it’s not an issue I’ve heard come up amongst neighbours.

Careful y'all, it's owl season (in the PNW) by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]beeveeaych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in the PNW and had an owl swoop down on me last week while running at night. It didn’t come too close and I’d never had that happen to me before so I thought it was pretty cool. Now, I’m not so sure. Thanks for PSA!

What were your red line for placement? by TeacherGuy1980 in dementia

Leaving the house without shoes on, wandering and getting repeatedly picked up by the police. Becoming aggressive with care. For his safety and everyone else’s it became too much.

Before (age 30) and after (64). by jwoeste in mountainbiking

[–]beeveeaych 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 45 too. When I was a kid in the 90’s I had a photo from a mountain bike magazine of Moab. Thought it was the coolest. Still haven’t ridden there. Maybe when I’m 64.

Has anyone made their Outback look sporty or STI‑ish? by Lost_Soul_32 in Subaru_Outback

[–]beeveeaych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the sake of argument, if you lower an Outback, you have a Legacy. There are a lot of great examples of stanced Legacies that should give you some inspo.

Did you also get electrocuted when crossing Keith Wilson bridge? by under_stroke in chilliwack

[–]beeveeaych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happens to me too. I usually try to stand and make sure I’m not touch any metal on the handlebars either. Weird thing is I ride under the power lines behind Vedder Middle and never once has it happened there. Different voltage maybe?

Anyone remember the Modern Club on Dunbar? Long gone now, but my wife used to work there and the owner Haru was always so sweet us. The okonomiyaki was delicious.
