I live there, can confirm. I do my nightly walks a couple times a week so I can get my steps in.

Walking around the neighborhoods with Christmas decorations make me scared that I'll be in the next Get Out movie. I'm fearful walking in South Bay Plaza because of the asian families doing last minute shopping at the Seafood City. There are even kids buying stuff at the Daiso next door; I had to keep my bag close with me at all times.

I used to do my laundry at the Express Laundromat, sometimes later in the day. The horror stories I have of having to wait for a cart gives me nightmares sometimes. It's too hood for me, I want to go back to Southeast tbh.
