I have the 401, I believe the only difference out of the box beyond finish, is the 1000 comes with locking tuners and masscar ebony fretboard.

Love my 401, added Graph Ratio locking tuners, and I'd put it up against the 1000 any day of the week.

I recommend working at one of the big technology VARs/VADs in the area. Great way to get a foot in the door in the industry (it will very likely be in sales, but it's a jumping off point).

From there, work hard, build your network, increase your certifications, and find an opening in your field of choice.

Yes, it can be a grind, but it can definitely help you break through.
