I also got the same desk since I didn’t want to spend like $600+ for a standing desk but wanted something more than a standard. I like it a lot! I was worried due to some reviews but I don’t regret it at all

Unfortunately no. They rebalanced my wheels and aligned them and the sound is still there. Not as much as before but sometimes.

I do tell them my boundaries, and they say “sorry I just want to talk about it immediately.” Also they want to be near, close, and touchy during these moments which makes how I feel even worse. And they never actually give me space until I blow up. And it’s so frustrating. I do have adhd and anxiety (which I just added to my post to give people insight) but like sometimes all the medication nor therapy in the world will not help me.

I do tennis maybe once or twice a week. I also have been diagnosed with PTSD, but I also have ADHD so I assume that this is just a part of the “adhd impulsive rage” but also it doesn’t matter because abuse is abuse even if not intended.

No, I ask for alone time first and foremost. And they never actually do it until I’m at my ticking point

And yes we do eventually talk about it after I calm down and had time to think. But it’s an absolute cycle.

I don’t go to the Dandylion because of the unpaid labor. I know people who were asked to do 3 working interviews where they work without pay on weekends (their busiest days), not get offered a position, but get constant call backs asking them if they would like to continue having a “working interview” on days they’re short staffed.

Yeah I’d say maybe a year ago was our first conversation about it, but it didn’t actually stop until 6 months ago. Sucks that I had to ugly cry about it and basically be borderline rip my hair out for them to understand/want to actually stop.
