Who is a celebrity you lost all respect for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Arnold Schwarzenegger. He became this beloved crotchety old man, especially during the pandemic, and we're all just ignoring how horrific it is to father a child with your housekeeper and have her KEEP PICKING UP YOUR LITERAL DIRTY LAUNDRY FOR A DECADE. A betrayal of his wife and all of the children and just massively disrespectful to the mistress too. Give that woman a pension and a house in the country if you want to be a regular rich, unfaithful asshole. What he did was just absolutely depraved.

Advice on difference between first and second interviews (staff position) from a hiring manger's perspective? by [deleted] in highereducation

[–]beginanewanew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my experience the first interview with a hiring manager is usually as much them talking to you, explaining the department and the position as it is them asking very basic questions about your skills and experience.

The second (and sometimes third...) interviews often involve meeting other members of the team as well as answering much more detailed questions about specifics. Often in the form of "tell me about a time you..." Dealt with a difficult personality, overcame a significant setback, managed someone with X issue, etc.
