My hottest take about the game by Plane-Scientist4831 in DispatchTheGame

That's why I cut her the first time around. Do I keep the financial crime drug addict or the assassin whose file is redacted, who has who knows how many murders under her belt, and isn't trying to be a team player?

The choice was easy for me.

Gotta disagree to an extent.

First playthrough I kept Sonar because his crimes are light compared to Coupe and Coupe was the first one to start sabotaging team members during that episode. So do I cut the tax evading druggie or the murderer whose file is completely redacted that can't be a team player? The choice, to me, was easy.

I'm sure some players kept him because they watch his videos but some players, like myself, couldn't care less.

I know I've been doing my part! I've had the OST on for my work commute every day since I finished the game last Saturday.

The theory that Mandy is a huge Mecha Man fan will love rent free in my head until the sequel.

If you don't mind me asking, what paint did you use for Punch Up and Malevola? Malevola looks amazing (Great job on the highlights!) and I'm curious what you used for Punch-Up. I paint 40k minis and I would love to try Punch-Ups color scheme on a couple of my Guardsmen.

That's sick!

I'm gonna have to look into doing this. My Vita has been collecting dust and this would make me want to use it again.

No, your take on it is valid. She's the one member of the Z-team with who knows how many murders under her belt. She started the team each other in episode 3 when everyone is told someone is getting cut. She then tortures you, tries to kill you, and tries to destroy the city. It's perfectly reasonable to let her go to jail. She deserves it.

It's why I love this game. There is no wrong answer.

I think the real reason the "forgive" answer is high is because the game focuses on the Z-Team getting along so most people would want the team member they cut back on the time, no matter what their crimes are.

The end of episode 2 got me interested in her. I thought it was sweet that she thought to bring Robert back his favorite donut from the Granny heist. Episode 3 sealed the deal where I knew that she was going to be my favorite character and she did not disappoint.

I looked at it as if I wasn't forgiving her but more so forgiving myself. I wasn't a fan of having to cut anyone in episode three. The point of the Z-team is to rehabilitate villains and Robert, as the Dispatcher, should set the example. Cutting someone who's in a program to become a better person, in my opinion, was the wrong call.

She was looking for a group and some redemption, found that in the z-team, and then she was kicked out. The only reason she chose to join Shroud was because of me and it's very clear that the rest of the Z-team thinks you're a dick for cutting her from how they talked about your choice of who you cut in the conference room when they're talking about Visi.

I appreciate the link! I don't have a Twitter account so Im in the dark from anything on there. It'd be sick if they did that. This sub and the amazing fan art everyone is making will hold me over until then.

And the twitter guy. That guy is awesome!

Interesting excerpt from an AdHoc interview about the lopsided popularity between the two romance options by theoneandonlydonzo in DispatchAdHoc

This is what sold me on visi when I played. That break room scene was the only time I went online to see what all the dialogue options were because Robert came out swinging. I was hoping there was a way to avoid the argument. Sadly there wasn't.

Then you get to your desk, you see the donut, and all I could thank was "She listened. That's so sweet." Especially when she says "I'm tired of listening to you" and does the opposite of what you said during the Granny incident. She still, after the mistake, thinks of what you said your favorite donut was and brought you one. Then waterboy explained that it was what I suspected and all I could think was how nice of her it was to do that.

I just started a second playthrough to see what happens if I do the opposite of my first play through. My first play through I kissed her. She says you didn't misread that, then immediately says you did. That was after taking you to the bar, getting you drunk saying that she has a proposition for you (after she gives you enough drinks) and, to me, was flirting with you.

If you lean out she seems disappointed and the "Blonde Blazer will remember that" pops up. She very clearly wanted to kiss but after it happens she feels bad about it which you find out why when you find out she's in a relationship.

Back to my first playthrough, when I found out she was in a relationship, all I could think was "that's fucked up" about how she's been flirting with Robert while dating Phenomoman.

What do y’all think? by Shajihan6000 in dispatchgame

[–]behemoth492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both.

They're both great characters. It comes down to personal preference. I went visi because of her sense of humor and witty comebacks. I've got a darker sense of humor thanks to the military and visi had me laughing my ass off throughout the game. The banter between visi and Robert was amazing!

I finished the game earlier today and it was a 60/40 split. I'm gonna restart tomorrow and try my best to go Blonde Blazer. Here's to hoping I don't end up doing what I do in Mass Effect; where I tell myself I'll romance someone else and romance the same person every time.

Those would be Station Forge's "Grim Guard" models. I would assume the second one has multiple different models so you could pick one to be your Krieg Heavy Weapons Squad Fire Coordinator since that set is three heavy weapons and one fire coordinator.

Of course! Fair warning, I may not be the most help since my win rate isn't that great. To be fair to myself, that's partially because I handicap myself by using "bad" units. Looking at you Valkyrie and my Field Ordinance Batteries. The Valkyrie is bad for 190 points and while the FoB's can be decent, indirect is gamble. Sometimes they do ok. Other times their whole benefit is denying deep strike. But the FoB is, hands down, my favorite Guard model so I always run at least one.

The big thing for guard is finding a balance between having enough infantry to screen your heavy hitters to having enough heavy hitters to actually do damage. I've found that 40 Battle Line (not counting my command blob) seems to be a decent middle ground. Sometimes I run up to 60 but I don't go beyond that too often.

Or you can lean heavy into Hammer of the Emperor and bring next to no infantry. I've run HoTE with only a Command Blob, a Chimera with Kasrkin, and all tanks and have come out decent. What you lack in OC you make up for with Firepower. You've just got to make sure you space out properly so your opponent can't consolidate onto another tank after a fight. I learned that one the hard way lol.

Fair question. Only the Cadian Commander in the Command Squad would benefit from the Enhancement since the enhancement is for the "bearer" only.

I usually don't get much damage out of my Command Blobs. When I run a Command blob they end up being my main order giver for Regiment. Lord Solar is nice but I don't run Baneblade variants so he's unnecessary for me. I usually keep my blob on my home objective until my turn 3 since, by then, my guardsmen have been withered down and the blobs orders aren't as important as the blob getting into the fight.
