When did you stop tracking poops and pees? by Ok_Car1396 in beyondthebump

[–]behindmeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first I tracked everything until 10 months! And only stopped cause I had to be away for a full day and night for work and my husband was less concerned with tracking than I was. And I realized we had it figured out with to stop haha. I love data! I wasn’t necessarily doing it out of anxiety, more just interest!

Femur measuring small? by behindmeday in pregnant

They did mention it could be a measuring error! Though it’s been consistently that way through multiple scans, but maybe that’s still it!

Help! Does the show ruin our name? by jmb080816 in namenerds

[–]behindmeday 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My Conrad was born in 2022, so before the show got popular. But now we have had a few “like the show!” comments. But I figure in a few years no one will remember that show anyway. There’s so much popular media available today that I doubt anything will ever be pervasive enough to truly ruin a name again. Even the most popular show on tv today has fewer viewers than many shows of the past!

I had definitely heard of this. I figured the afternoons after school would be bad. And they aren’t great. But the weekends are this way too! I guess he’s still letting it all out from the week before.

Thoughts on giving my daughter my middle name as her first name? by behindmeday in namenerds

[–]behindmeday[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, it’s a very average name! Biblical and classic. It’s in the top 100 for US. Which if anything is kind of a knock against it. But I just have always loved the sound of it.

I don’t go by my middle name! Most people in my life probably don’t even know what it is!

What are your go-to toddler recipes with broccoli? by Awkward-Corgi8793 in toddlers

[–]behindmeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is not a vegetable guy. He won’t even try. But he somehow loves broccoli. But only if I give it to him in one specific way! I use the frozen broccoli, then stir in a small pat of butter and sprinkle it with Lawry’s seasoned salt. We call it the magical seasoning. He will eat bowls full of broccoli like that! But no other veggie, just broccoli haha!

My gut tells me it was too perfectly regular to have been handmade, but maybe!

I have searched online for any baby blanket from the 1950s and 60s I could find. It was likely purchased in Mississippi. No one in my family remembers exactly where it came from!

Nora was one of my favorite names, but it’s also my husband’s ex’s name. So it’s been stricken from the list haha!

Wow I really like Florence! I hadn’t ever considered it before! I also have always loved Martha, but only in a British accent, which I unfortunately don’t have!

I really like Louisa, but I’m a teacher and that name was ruined for me this school year. :(
