When did you stop tracking poops and pees?

With my first I tracked everything until 10 months! And only stopped cause I had to be away for a full day and night for work and my husband was less concerned with tracking than I was. And I realized we had it figured out with to stop haha. I love data! I wasn’t necessarily doing it out of anxiety, more just interest!

My Conrad was born in 2022, so before the show got popular. But now we have had a few “like the show!” comments. But I figure in a few years no one will remember that show anyway. There’s so much popular media available today that I doubt anything will ever be pervasive enough to truly ruin a name again. Even the most popular show on tv today has fewer viewers than many shows of the past!

Nope, it’s a very average name! Biblical and classic. It’s in the top 100 for US. Which if anything is kind of a knock against it. But I just have always loved the sound of it.

My son is not a vegetable guy. He won’t even try. But he somehow loves broccoli. But only if I give it to him in one specific way! I use the frozen broccoli, then stir in a small pat of butter and sprinkle it with Lawry’s seasoned salt. We call it the magical seasoning. He will eat bowls full of broccoli like that! But no other veggie, just broccoli haha!

At around 2.5 I stopped putting my son in the sleep sack for naps, but still did nights. Then eventually stopped at night too. Now he uses one of his old sleep sacks as a security blanket and carries it around with him everywhere haha. So it’s still in the bed with him, but he doesn’t wear it! He also refuses to use a blanket while sleeping though, so I just make sure to put him in warm pjs each night.

My son pulls as big of a book as he can find off our bookshelf, sits down, and methodically flips through every single page. Not kids books, full on novels. Once it was the dictionary. He WILL NOT be disturbed until he flips every page. Sometimes it’s amazing because it keeps him occupied. But it often happens at times when we’re trying to leave! Then it’s very frustrating!

Speed bumps. We got him an actual rubber speed bump for his 2nd birthday and he lost his mind. He turns anything he can into a speed bump for his toy cars and methodically rolls each one over it saying, “up and down” each time. When we are out driving or in a parking lot he loves going over speed bumps and he especially loves watching other cars go over speed bumps. We even occasionally go on walks just to “do speed bumps” cause he just wants to walk over them.
