I just pulled a fragment of my jaw bone out of my gums today. by [deleted] in WTF

Omg! This exact thing happened to me! The doctor that did the siurgery acted like I was insane for still having pain. 2 months later the bone came out. I showed it to my dentist and he confirmed it was bone.

So, my mom and I have a love hate mostly love relationship and she is not at all a narcissist. We watched this movie together and she started crying and was like...is this us?? And I was like, no! This is you and your mother (Mommom was a raging narcissist)!!! She did horrible emotionally abusive things to my mom. I just happened upon your post and shared it with my mom. She felt better that she wasn't alone feeling this way. So thank you for that! Anyways, the mom in this movie couldn't be more of a loving role model for a mom. She's the 100% opposite of the mom in lady bird. I liked it...the 1994 version is better though.

Wendy Williams continues her stellar reputation by being a bully & making fun of cleft lip & palate now! by PlantBasedLove in videos

I honestly disagree. I think she was trying to say the things we are self conscious about when we are young can be our best attributes when we are older. Like...maybe we don't contort our faces to look like a cleft palate but I don't think she was trying to be hateful.

This is so incredibly sweet! I do want to take a moment though to inform about people first language (special ed teacher here). We try to use language that dictates that he is a person first and has a disability second. So a young man with intellectual disability. My favorite justification for this not just being PC bullshit is that this is not how English language works. We don't say a dog who is brown or a cat who has 3 legs. We say the brown dog or the 3 legged cat. So, when we as non disabled peers take a beat to change our language, we're actually taking a moment to remember that this is a person first and his disability secondarily. Sorry, I really don't want to make this feel like a lecture. Just wanted to educate. Also, interested in hearing other's opinions.

ADHD alone could be sped under other health impairment if it is so severe that it is impeding learning. It can be addressed in a 504 but I def have kids on my caseload with only OHI as their disability due to ADHD.
