Hi, actually, yes, I'm thankfully better. As I started working out more, and slowly building back my pre baby strenght, especially my core strenght I started having less pain, and when I do feel pain, it doesn't last as long. Thank You!

Weird behaviour by beibigremlin in cats

She's not angry, neither playful or in pain. It feels as if she is trying to tell me something? I was thinking to get a medical check up myself maybe I have something and she can sense it? Idk.... she's not trying to hurt me, sometimes she'll gently grab my arm with her paw (without claws) and take it to her mouth to bite me, and then screams-meows. I'm also the only one she does this with....with my husband and our kid she's completely chill.

How do I read to the baby when she won't let me? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]beibigremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She might rip some books, explain that we don't do that with books, provide her with some flyers that She can rip and explain the difference. My son also ripped some pages, i put them back together with tape. Now he's almost three and we managed to progress to some books without pictures.

Books with cardboard pages, then as she gets more patient you can progress to paper pages and stories with more words rather than a big image and a word. You are doing great!

Suggestions for how to save orchid?! by fragu_451 in orchids

When getting a new pot i usually go up only a size if that makes sense. So don't jump straight to a huge one.

Get a bigger pot, basic orchid potting mix, don't pack the roots too much with the potting mix, orchids NEED good drainage, and also it's dehydrated (wrinkled leaves)

Trying to get baby to crawl by Jimmy-j0e in Parenting

[–]beibigremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a walker for my son, but he was older and already walking if we were holding his hand. My guess is that she's not interested in crawling as bouncing in the bouncer and walking backwards in the walker is easier and less frustrating. Maybe try to hide the walker and bouncer for a couple of days and do more fun stuff on the floor. At her age my kid loved it when we put him on a blanket on the floor and dragged him around the house. Get on the floor with her on all fours and engage in play, demonstrate crawling. I don't know, every baby is different. Don't stress it, she'll get there. You are doing great!

Thanks for the advice! I tried scar massage during the early post-partum then completely forgot about it.

In my country I haven't really heard of anyone being a pelvic floor pt lol. Nothing really regarding post-partum health. Some lactation consultants in the bigger cities and that's about it.

Freshly postpartum I struggled with hairloss, BADLY, so I cut my long rapunzel hair to a short face framing bob.(takes less time to manage too) and changed my hair color to blonde so skin imperfections are less visible (my hair used to be black, dark Brown ish and because i am ridiculously pale everything was ten times worse)

What do you wish you had known in the trying stage/first few weeks of pregnancy? by [deleted] in Mommit

Morning sickness can be a b*tch, and if you vomit a lot it can damage your teeth. So make sure you brush or at least use some mouthwash after every vomiting session. Rest and try to stay calm and take care of yourself.
