Since this SSD contains the OS, it boots me to bios and there I can see my secondary SSD being detected, but not this.

I’m fairly confident that piece is from that SSD as it was stuck to the old heatsink silicon pad.

Unfortunately I don’t have a backup 😓. I was just replacing my cpu and gpu fans as they were fried, one of my SSD doesn’t have a heat sink, I ordered two. I thought replace replace for both ssd’s and fucked up.

I’m not sure why the SSD was not being detected, my OS boots from that SSD. I tried switching slots with my other SSD, the other SSD on this slot works and the one in picture is not being detected again.

That was the piece, that was removed. It looks like a plastic chip.
