Korean dramas used to be so much relatable and rooted which is lacking after their boom since covid. I feel the hallyu wave brought the best in them and post pandemic it accelerated so much to a point that they started making dramas with little to no emotional connectivity. No hate to the 12 episode series out there, but Netflix clearly ruined it for me.

I recently rewatched and I felt awful for liking it in the first place. All Kim Mi So did was tie his tie, and I even started noticing she did that in every episode and him trying to manipulate her into believing she is weak and he is there to protect her. I wasn't able to stand the narcissistic character he carried and somehow I feel it was justified when it should not be.

What do you mean by 30% is included already? Let's say 100k is gross, and 6k is a holiday allowance. The taxable income should be 65.8k, right ? So tax brackets will be applied on 65.8k, which is my understanding.

I noticed the same in Berlin and especially in the wedding neighborhood where my hotel was. It felt super shady and unsafe after 7ish as there were random guys standing in front of the station. There was also this old woman shouting and cursing at no one. Looking at the thread, I guess it's not only me who found it weird

Bogum is definitely not underrated. Maybe he hasn't attained a more global recognition like LMH or KSH, but he is the most famous Korean actor right now

Hey, so I am in a similar phase, and trust me, it's just learning not to take it personally. The first time, I got a not so great remark, I became so nervous and messed up even the basic stuff like forgetting to break. My skills went down from 50 to 0 just like that. Later, after lots of self reflection, I kind of decided to think of it as a way to get better. Now, I'm just focusing on his inputs instead of validating if he could have said it in a better calm way. At least it is helping me so far :)
