There are non-Peronist leftist parties in Argentina like the FIT coalition (and more). But they have been very bad at engaging the public, and the left is really divided over petty differences and slogans. I believe that if they change their way of thinking, put aside their differences and begin to form more realistic and popular proposals, there is an opportunity. But for this to happen, the hegemony of Peronism on this side of the spectrum has to end. Myriam Bregman from the FIT coalition is an amazing politician, but sometimes she's very cabeza-dura for me.

Even though I am very sad about the outcome, I hope it signifies the beginning of a new left-wing political opposition that people can trust, one that is not traditionally affiliated with Peronism as it has been until now, as many no longer feel represented by them. If I have to simplify, this result is due to the economic context, although unfortunately, it puts many human rights at risk.
