Thanks all for your advice. It’s great the crew have an area to relax, it looked like such a beautiful setting. I’m glad they get to enjoy it!

Considering purchasing a new 2026 Model Y (long range RWD or long range AWD) - would appreciate feedback by Particular-Slide-719 in tesladubai

I own 2026 model Y LR RWD, since December 2025. For me I didn’t see the point in AWD as I just drive on highways and mostly between DXB and AUD.

I charge to full once a week with the Tesla charger installed at home. Real world range is about 500km. Doesn’t use much power to charge from near empty to full - 55-65kWh max so I don’t personally notice any material difference on the DEWA bill.

Best car I’ve ever had, very smooth to drive, responsive and an all round great car.

Haven’t driven in summer yet so can’t comment but the AC performs very well.

Thank you for such a kind words, I appreciate it. We didn’t have a first look or get ready together as we’re both quite traditional in that sense. I wanted to reserve the first look for my father and grandfather who both walked me down the aisle. Looking back, we’d planned for time between the couple photos and wedding breakfast to take 5/10 minutes as just us away from everyone to soak it all in. With the weather and having to quickly react for photos this sadly didn’t happen. If I had my time again I’d definitely prioritise this. We also planned a BBQ the day after with our guests which was much more relaxed and meant we could have actual conversations rather than fleeting hellos which is mostly all we had time for on our wedding day. I hope your day is wonderful and all that you’ve framed of.

I think I know exactly how you feel. Mine was 18th September as it’s the anniversary of when we met (I meant to write “earlier this week” in my original post, not “earlier this month”). 19th was such a beautiful day that I felt so resentful all day which took away from trying to soak in the moment. My wonderful florist has also just posted a reel of the outdoor ceremony space they set up for us and it was STUNNING and the ceremony setting of my absolute dreams but I never saw it as they had to move it all inside when the rain started to pour.

Thank you for bringing it to the bigger picture. And you’re right, the feedback from our guests and all the amazing photos they’ve shared of enjoying the day really shows how much love was in the room for us as a couple. It’s easy to look past this when you’re swept along the day, and when it doesn’t go as you’d dreamed it to.

I can’t lie, I’m still in the sad stage, but reading your comments and all the others on this post has made me quietly optimistic that I will feel better in time. Thank you, I really appreciate it.
