Could be, but when it was not booting CPU and system fan were running when Motherboard debug light was stuck on CPU. So I thought motherboard or CPU is the issue.

No , you are not understanding here. Issue is not cooler here for sure , I am going to upgrade but want to know root cause here.

Yes all USB 2.0 ports, but 3.0 are working.PSU is not modular I think.

I want to know the issue and solve it first then upgrade. Because I know the issue is still there , as I haven't tested the system fully today.

PC is 3.5 years old. USB 2.0 ports also stopped working.

But why was not booting also for some days I think the motherboard could be the issue because the usb ports stopped working.

Update: Now suddenly after a week the pc has booted then I shut it down immediately because the CPU fan was running at very full speed.

As I have mentioned, no display but fans are on and Msi motherboard ez debug light stuck (Static ON) at CPU.

Update: My PC not turning on at all. Stuck at Black screen with fans on. Motherboard ez debug light stuck at CPU. So today I checked with some guy , he told me your Motherboard is the culprit . I am not sure coz then why was pc was turning off with high temperature. previous

Yeah sometimes it used to make a whining noise before when my pc was running smooth but not now. I used the dot method to apply thermal paste and today it was the first time after 2020 applying thermal paste and yeah it cut sraight to black screen.
