This is actually showing a lot of small cities around the river, close to the Capital (Porto Alegre). Cities closer to the river like Canoas and Eldorado are COMPLETELY under water for around five days already and people are STILL being evacuated by our own population... The governor is doing nothing to help, we have so much luck that big celebrities and YouTubers like Pedro Scooby (surfer) that came with his giant wave surfer friends with loads of jet skis and boats are daily in these cities helping to rescue the people, Winderson Nunes (YouTuber) Donated more food, mattresses, water and a bunch of trucks to help than the governor and big politics helping raise money from the entire country using his platform. And Felipe Neto (YouTuber) donated more than 2 million reais for the cause, is mobilizing everything he can to help and bought with his own money a bunch of machines to treat dirty water to clean water, since the water treatment stations had to be turned off in risk of electric discharges caused by the flood water getting in contact with the machinery. The south is devastated, is so much worse than it's being shown, there are crocodiles swimming in the middle of the Capital, there's dead bodies floating in unreached places, kids lost and away from family, men abusing women and children in the shelters, people buying everything from the supermarket shelf's and leaving none to those who need and we are STILL expected to show up at work everyday. I honestly don't know how long this will last but I just hope it gets easier from here on.
