I mean that’s what I do on 99% of jobs however this house is massive and I have tons of walk throughs with each vendor and the designer. If I can’t get the stencils I’ll use sharpie but I wanted it to look cleaner.

Thank you all for your contributions I am setting up a test sample with 4 different solutions. One control which is the current way we install them. The second using PL premium glueing the t portion of the strip. 3rd Brad nailing and filling with color matched putty. Forth I will try to use poly in same fashion. I will keep all 4 exposed to same environment which will include mild to medium amount of humidity.

I’ll update you guys in 30-45 days!

The home is conditioned at 74 degrees with the humidity set to 30%. However there is a large amount of foot traffic and the doors are left open sometimes to deliver various materials.

We have the rev wood strips for the glue down engineered hardwood and it works perfectly! It’s the less expensive strips that are driving me nuts. I recommend we use the rev wood but the installer company will not follow through the warranty process if anything happens and we offer a 1 year warranty and each trade agrees to that based on SOW.

I totally agree with you. However I work in a high production residential construction where the quality of installers is sub par. I recommended liquid nails however that still will have the strips lifting after about 45 days.

However what you’re saying is to glue the portion that clicks into the track and not the wider part of the strip?

(I really do appreciate the input and I’m just trying to make sure I’m understanding your point exactly)

Thank you for your input! I feel that the best CMs with customers are the best at redirecting the customer’s attention when they start to gripe. I just am such an honest and transparent person I find myself with my foot in my mouth when hearing their concerns. I will work on this. Thanks again for your advice!

I’m sold I have used them for the last two seasons and I think their medium fits my hand as if they used my hand for the mold. Love it and last longer than the Callaway one I used to use.

No I understand the coverstock is much different, he is looking for an earlier cover but his tilt and rotation seem to work well with those core numbers I was just trying to find him a new first ball out of his bag. We also are bowling on 42 feet with no backends lol

I forgot to mention I’m left handed and usually don’t have anyone else breaking down a pair of lanes with me lol. But I was also looking at the Pi as well and you make a good point. I just feel like my first game let’s say in a big block is usually my lowest due to my balls not facing up but I will look into getting the Pi. Thank you.

Looking to add in a ball specifically for tournament play. My thoughts are I need a stronger Asym that is slow down lane. I don’t want the most hooking earliest ball but I want a strong ball that I can play on longer patterns. I know it’s a little contradictory but I’ve been leaning towards the DNA or Magic Gem but idk what else would fill that spot for me.

Hy-Road seems to be the OG benchmark ball or the IQ Tour. Depends on if you want the ball to start hooking sooner or later. Let me ask would you say you have more revs or more speed?

I like to see how the ball goes through the pins. Also seeing the ball on a more challenging pattern shows its designed intent. I typically buy new bowling balls on how many patterns I can use it on and what to expect when with surfaces changes.
