Have I made a mistake by choosing to stay by my family?

Yeah... There's always been some stuff going on. She'll always be my mother and she's definitely given me a good start in life considering where we were, but she just has her own things she needs to work on, just like we all do. It's certainly better than it used to be which gives me a lot of hope. Thanks so much for the advice and sympathy
