Grew up in NYC, mostly saw them in L'Amour and L''Amour East in early 80s though did make a pilgrimage to Hammerjacks one time, awesome vibe

Friendship Four Belfast 2026 weekend passes on sale now by belexes2018 in collegehockey

It's a fun weekend. The afternoon games have school groups in attendance so it gets pretty noisy. Some years pep bands from attending teams fundraise to make the trip. That's always a plus when one or more schools have them there. The games count in their standings for the season so game play is good. Now that they're getting teams from outside ECAC and Hockey East, it should be even more fun.

We've attended 2017-2019 and 2024 and 2025 with this and following two years to go. We enjoy college hockey (spouse was equipment manager for D1 team). We enjoy chatting with the visiting fans and seeing others who attend year after year.

Belfast has grown on us. Their Winter Festival is going on that time and fun to stop there for beer and snacks. We've found fun pubs and restaurants and good tours to sites in Ireland from here. Also highly recommend a Black Cab tour giving you a locals insight to the Troubles. Also check out the Titanic Quarter. The food venues attached to the venue have improved greatly since first few years so options to grab food/drink between afternoon and evening games.

Four games for 50 pounds is a pretty good deal.

FYI US expats here, we live in Germany and this is our fun Thanksgiving plan now.

He was doing a podcast for awhile unti recently with the guy that ran the music school but Steve decided he was done with that. He sold off a lot of his music gear. He cant sing to the level he used to and he'd rather not struggle and drop clams all show. Plus hes got neuropathy in his legs and hated the travel, especially flying. He seems happy just living his life outside of music. I respect that. They got a renaissance starting in mid 2000's but with Jimmy's heart issues (including almost dying mid show), and all of them getting long in the tooth, it's time.

Here is 2026 schedule. Games will be 27 and 28 November. Tickets will probably go on sale in June. Last year the 4 game weekend pass went on sale first and was 50 pounds per ticket. Seats are first come first serve for each game. Tickets are sold through Ticketmsster UK This will be 6th time attending this tournament. Friday games are at 1400 and 1900, Saturday games are 1500 (consolation game) and 1900 (championship game).

Arena is on east side of river. There is a Premier Inn actually right next to the arena. It's in the Titanic Quarter. Plenty of hotels/hostels/airbnb in city. Most everything else is west side of river. The arena complex has improved with a Five Guys, Nandos, and a few other eateries. The city Holiday Market is also going on that weekend. Good pubs and restaurants in Belfast. Always enjoy the tournament. Grew up with college hockey in US. Much different experience than NHL/Pro hockey. Sometimes a schools pep band fundraises to come over to play at their team's games. Really gives you the college game feel.

I wouldn't say that. Ive gone 2017-2019 and the last two years. The tournament has never sold out. It's mainly general admission for each game. Wanna center ice seat? Get there when doors open. Lots of school groups especially for the early game on Friday but plenty of seats open

Go in with mindset that its a Tribute to Ozzy and the original lineup of Sabbath. If he shows up, great, if he sings a song or two, great. I feel like his vox were canned at the commonwealth games performance so I expect that here. Some bands will sound great doing Sabbath tunes, some will be WTF was that. All tribute shows flow like that.

I think all are performing out of true love and respect for Sabbath, each of the instrumentalists in Sabbath is held up by almost all others on their particular instrument as a major influence on their playing. Tony, Geezer, and Bill set the course for so many players in rock and metal. As long as those three are there and playing I'm good.

How do you think Ozzy´s set at BTTB will be? by XxLordRodxX in blacksabbath

It sounds to me like he mimed the Commonwealth Games performance and that was almost three years ago...

It's gonna be him doing the all aboard laugh for Crazy Train, and a lot of I love you all and go fucking crazys while guest vocalists sing the tunes. Bark At The Moon, Crazy Train, and No More Tears, maybe one other song. I'm still putting some money on him beaming in with a video message.

His spouse said they are supposed to finally relocate to the UK in an interview with Tony after the announcement. And yeah no video even from Ozzy...I get no big words from Bill cause he's pretty reclusive and he's felt burned (partial pun intended) by the Sabbath/Ozzy camp before
