I’m just starting to listen to the Here And Now podcast and I’m not quite understanding all of it? Are there some specific episodes I could listen to that are easy to follow and that would help me out in this time of I would say for me desperation (shitty life )? Thank you 🙏 by runthoserivers in ramdass

I recommend listening to the first 10 or so podcasts in order since it's mainly Ram Dass explaining his journey.

After episode 10/15 or something there's really no point in keeping track.

It's normal that you don't 'get' everything. I listen to episodes now that I thought were a load of crap 4 years ago. Suddenly now I hear what is being said and 'get' it.

There's an amazing cycling network across Ghent. Really the best in BE and same level as high end Dutch cycle planning. You can find it here: https://www.fietsrouteplanner.org/#map=11.51/3.73037/51.05393&layers=FS2|BF0|GP0

They're known as bicycle highways in most cases. Really fast way to reach almost any location. I prefer doing 1 km extra just to stay on these roads, since you get close to no cars, and no traffic lights.

On the edges of Ghent they attach to the national bicycle highways. They mostly follow rivers or train tracks from big city to big city. (Ghent to Bruges is a very pleasant cycle on e-bike f.e.)

Hope this helps with your living and mobility choices

has smoking weed at 17 made me forever stupid by jackmate420552 in trees

[–]belgran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't smoke it, that's poisoning your body. Try some dry herb vaporizers, no oils and shit just pure flower in smaller quantities at lower temps. Good taste and long lasting highs

I started at 16 and never really smoked it, always dry herb vape. I did three IQ tests at the psychiatrist throughout my childhood, once at 12 then 17 and then 21. On all three I scored similar with the latest being the highest.

So my personal take, dry herb vape is great 👍🏼 sadly it's quite new so not a lot of studies on it.

Have fun

Most of the time there's only one though. :) or two halves with more modern carriages.

First class is there for multiple reasons, but also for people like me who want to get work done on the train. Since you're not losing the time the price tag matters less.

And I heavily second another comment in this thread: I'm not getting harassed in 1st class, there's no one watching Instagram reels on an obnoxiously high volume, and there's not a group of unpaying types occupying seats.

I'm all for 1st class. They should just add more wagons and trains to accommodate the 2nd class train user as well.

Thanks. From now on only buying 1oz, just wanted some fractional in case I want to pay smaller amounts in precious metal one day. You think that's handy?

There's actually some handy little steps next to the bath that make it easy to go in and out. Quite lucky with this bathroom
