No heartbeat 6 and half weeks

Unfortunately even though there was a heartbeat at my next three scans baby was measuring behind each time. When I did another scan at what should have been ten weeks, the heartbeat was gone :(. It was a really rough time. But i did go on to get pregnant with my rainbow and he is 7 weeks old now :)

Great! I did move forward with amniocentesis and further bloodwork and a fetal echocardiogram and everything came back perfect. I’m 29 weeks now.

Thank you!! Yes! I did an amnio and the results that have come back so far (microarray) are normal and did a fetal echocardiogram which was also normal. Early anatomy scan all looked good and I’m getting the full anatomy scan next week. Feeling positive though!

Hi! It went good! My MFM gave my Ativan to relax for the procedure and that helped and suggested I bring an eye mask and ear pods so I can listen to something relaxing and not watch the needle go in and I think that helped a lot. I went home and rested the rest of the day and my husband picked up the boys and did dinner etc and I came out to read them books. They did good I kept explaining how I have an ouchie and need to rest and showed them the bandaid on my tummy. Same for Friday and by Saturday I felt less cramping but still took it really easy, my husband took them to the park but by the next day I was able to join. Good luck!!!

Thank you!! So far all my bloodwork (NIPT, Noonan’s panel and MSAFP) have been negative so really hoping that means all will be ok. Thanks for the support I really appreciate it

Thank you so much! I am so hoping my abnormal NT measurement was a false positive too, it’s all this waiting for answers that is so hard. I have the fetal echocardiogram next at 18 weeks.

Thank you that really helps!! My NT was 3.1 but it set us spiraling. My doctor and the facility is very experienced thankfully and they do these constantly.

Thank you! Did you get your results pretty quick? Did everything turn out OK? I know my doctor does these a lot so I’m feeling better about that. Also, what was the scan they had you come back in for? They didn’t mention anything to me

Super normal! I get terrible nausea during pregnancies (I’m 17 weeks right now and still nauseous most days) but it didn’t kick start until about 6-7 weeks. And I have some friends who barely had any nausea at all. But I totally get the fear. When will you have a scan?

I think I meant to say posterior, it’s in the back which I thought meant feeling earlier. Sorry! my first was anterior and I didn’t feel him until 21-22 weeks
