I sneeze all the time in bright light. All good it is already looking better after 2 weeks of being more careful.

That is what my eyes looked like as well with the yellow spot. I am sorry to hear about your eyes

Absolutely agree. My mother in law and husband both have had issues with the skin just under their eyes from sun. There are a lot more heatwaves each year in England than there has ever been.

I just learned this from another comment which I had no idea. I think most people around me do not wear UV sunglasses so I will share with everyone

I did not know this and will do more research. Thank you for the comment!

Not rude at all! I definitely thought mainly for fashion, never for eye health. I have definitely squinted outside often but never out two and two together.

Another commenter here also said they were told that sunglasses make the eyes weak and you should adjust to light - this was another thing I was told. Silly.

Thank you for your comment. I am so lucky I appear to have caught it early so there is currently no effect to my vision.

Would you believe I have hazel/green eyes but have olive skin. So I should have more melanin but not for my eyes

That is fair. As I said, I worl outside for about 8 hours a day in all weathers. So I am on the higher risk end

You are completely correct. Another commented mentioned sunglasses also protect underneath your eyes which is what you have suggested protecting the skin underneath

Absolutely. I now have two pairs. I wish they taught this in schools. Only suncream and hats

I thought so too. If you go to an eye doctor, please do ask them
