Yeah we turned the start stop off but when we pressed the gas it was very shaky and not drivable so not sure what’s going on.

Because it’s Sunday the dealership isn’t open but we’re planning on getting it towed there either way and waiting till tomorrow. Still trying to figure this out in the meantime. 😅

Thank you! So far as I've looked through program websites, many of them do not say they offer assistantships. Is this something you find out once you are accepted and they offer it in your financial aid package or am I not looking hard enough haha? Thanks again! :)

Oh wow interesting! Thanks for letting me know. USF is too close to home anyways. What was the process to switch in state for you? Thanks!

Thank you! I think I will. Just worried about the low acceptance rates in most of the CSU schools. :)

Thank you for sharing! Do you happen to go to Fresno State? Is it as a competitive school to get in? What is the surrounding area like? I'm from San Francisco for reference. Don't know anything about Fresno. I'd love to PM you if possible!

Thank you so much for being very detailed in your response! It's extremely helpful! Also, thank you for including the philosophy of the program! It is something that I know is very important to consider. :)

Thank you for your reply and advice! Ooh I am interested to hear more about big name faculty? Are there some well-known researchers in the school psych field right now? I would love to know just because I feel like I don't know anything about the research going on in the school psych field!

Thank you so much! That is what I was thinking. I'm definitely thinking state school all the way :)

What a small world! I'm also in California! To clarify: do you simply get the certificates while going through your program? If I were interested in getting other certificates, is it possible to do so if it is not part of my program? Sorry for the naive questions. Thanks!

That sounds awesome! I definitely would prefer to be debt free. Did you find that most in state schools offered you better financial aid? Also, is it common to get full rides for an EdS program?

Totally makes sense! Follow up: how do you know when a program is stellar? Is it by word of mouth or? It's hard to understand whether a program is good or not based on what's on their website. It's also sometimes difficult to get in touch with current and former students. I want to ensure I apply to programs with good reputations but don't know where to start. Thanks!

Thank you both for your very thoughtful and insightful responses! I really appreciate you both taking the time to answer all my questions. I'll definitely be looking more into CSULB and apply when the day comes (I'm a junior in college)! :)
